Accessibility
statement

Skischule Silvia Grillitsch GmbH & Co KG is committed to making its website www.skischule.co.at/en accessible in accordance with the federal law on accessible access to websites and mobile applications (Web Accessibility Act - WZG) BGBl. I. No. 59/2019 idgF and the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGStG).

This accessibility statement applies to www.skischule.co.at/en.

Our commitment

Digital accessibility is more than just a given for us – it is close to our hearts. We want our website to be easily usable for all people, and we work diligently to ensure this. Therefore, we are doing everything possible to implement the necessary adjustments and are continuously striving to integrate new content in an accessible manner.

Our goal is to provide all website users – regardless of their individual needs – with unrestricted access to our digital offerings.

Status of compatibility with the requirements

This website is completely compliant with the conformity level AA of the "Guidelines for Accessible Web Content – WCAG 2.1" as well as with the applicable European Standard EN 301 549 V3.2.1 (2021-03) according to the Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament and of the Council.

Implemented accessibility measures

We have already implemented the following measures to improve accessibility:

  • Responsive Web Design: Our website is optimized for various output devices (smartphone, tablet, desktop computer) due to responsive web design. Content elements are automatically optimized for the best readability and adjusted for the respective display size. Additionally, sufficient contrast has been taken into account in the design.
  • Keyboard Navigation: The main menu can be navigated using the keyboard (Tab key, arrow keys). Interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard.
  • Structure and Semantics: All pages have meaningful page titles. The language of the page is declared in the markup. The HTML markup used is standards-compliant. Headings are hierarchically structured. Links have meaningful labels.
  • Accessibility for Assistive Technologies: Alternative texts for informative images, sufficient color contrasts, support for screen readers

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:

a) Incompatibility with accessibility standards
Texts and comprehensibility: We strive to write our texts largely without abbreviations and foreign words, and we avoid cumbersome sentence structures. If a text is not understandable, we request feedback.

Contrast issues:
Occasional contrast issues mainly concern:

  • Cookie banners that overlay existing content
  • External content from third parties (widgets from TripAdvisor, Google review widget, chatbots (for example, ChatBase), etc.)
  • Multimedia content: Not all videos have subtitles or audio descriptions, older PDF documents may not be fully accessible.

b) Disproportionate burden
Content from third parties: Our website partially uses content and services from third parties (e.g., social media embeds, external maps, booking widgets, online shops). For this content, no complete statement can be made regarding compliance with accessibility standards, as they do not fall completely under our control.

Legacy content: A complete retroactive adjustment of all existing content, especially older PDF documents and multimedia content, would represent a disproportionate burden.

c) The content does not fall under the scope of applicable legal regulations
Spam protection/reCAPTCHA: To protect against spam and automated inquiries, we use reCAPTCHA features in our contact forms. These are not fully accessible.

Accessible alternatives:
For non-accessible content, we offer the following alternatives:

Creation of the accessibility statement

This statement was created on December 19, 2025. The statement was based on an assessment by the Agency Algo GmbH. This statement was last reviewed on December 19, 2025.

Enforcement procedure

If you receive unsatisfactory responses from the above-mentioned contact option, you can file a complaint with the complaint office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) with limited liability. The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the contact form of the complaint office.
The complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act, particularly deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.

If the complaint is justified, the FFG is to issue recommendations for action to the federal government or the affected legal entities and propose measures that serve to eliminate the existing deficiencies.

With the entry into force of the Accessibility Act (BaFG) on June 28, 2025, those affected can turn to the Social Ministry Service as the market supervisory authority in cases of violations of the accessibility requirements.
