Is the ski boot pinching? Here are some advices for you!

There is nothing worse than painful pressure points, numb and cold toes or a cramping calf. The magazine of bergwelten.com reveals tricks that help!

1) CHOOSE THE RIGHT SKI BOOT
Let us advise you and adapt the ski boot to your foot shape. Each foot is individual. Therefore the ski boot should be adapted best with the modern techniques of ski boot fitting. A perfectly fitting boot is firm, but not so that it hurts, but should not leave too much space.

2) THE HARD SKIN
In order to achieve an even better fit, ski boots can be deformed. What does not fit is made to fit!

3) ADJUST THE INNER SHOE
Have your ski boot thermoformed to fit. The boot is heated and adapted to the shape of the foot before it cools down. Tip: After some time, the ski boot should be adjusted again. The boot will lose its fit if used regularly.

There is also the possibility to make the adjustments to the foot via a foaming process. However, nothing can be adjusted here afterwards.

4) USES INSOLES
Who has perfect feet? Splayfeet or flat feet are common and so it is advisable to use custom-made insoles in your shoes.

5) MADE-TO-MEASURE SKI BOOTS
There are many ski boots that can be made to measure. Fischer, Strolz, Salomon or Head offer this possibility.
